Two of my Favorite A to Zen Principles

It is hard to pick two A to Zen principles that are most important, so I picked the two that I feel can be most applicable to daily life.

1) L-love yourself

Loving ourselves seems to be such a common problem in the world today. In my opinion, it is not possible to love others if you don't love yourself. Loving yourself is the best thing you can do for your life in order to be happy and successful with others, especially in relationships.

2) W-when you lose, don't lose the lesson

Many times, people make mistakes and do not take anything away from it. Mistakes are in our life for a reason-to learn from them. Mistakes are okay to make, as long as you learn your lesson...don't lose it.

  1. I agree wtih loving yourself. If you do not embrace your own personality and ideas, then you are not able to love others. Learning to love yourself starts with making a conscious decision, an intention to become happy and lead a fulfilled life. When you do not love yourself and suffer from low self esteem, it is almost impossible to ever reach the potential that you suspect you have. If you find that you criticize yourself often, make an effort to stop the self criticism. It is not always about winning or coming up tops in everything that you do. Many times, it is the effort that counts! Acknowledge that you have done your best, even if you have failed to produce tangible results.
