What's the best advice that you have ever recieved or given?
The best advice that I have ever received and given is to be you. I know it is very cliché, but I think people have lost sight of their own personality, and their special qualities. It's no fun to pretend to be something or someone that you are not. Embracing our own quirks, flaws, and weird qualities make us special and interesting. I went through a time in my life where I wasn't being myself, and I was trying to be a certain way to fit in, and I am so happy that I learned that is not how I want to live my life. I am so much happier in my own skin, and I embrace every weird quality that I have. Being yourself if the best advice to give, receive and most importantly, follow.

Being yourself is probably the best advice to be given. When you embrace who you are it makes you different from anyone else because no two people are alike. So just except who you are and LIVE LIFE.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this advice! I see so many young people trying to fit in and be someone that they are not because they feel that will make them more popular and more well-liked. It makes me sad when I see this because I wish that everyone would embrace themselves with open arms and acceptance. However, teenagers can be mean to others that do not fit in. That is why it is important to always accept everyone for who they are, even if they do not think or act like you do. I am glad that you have learned this lesson, and I hope that you always stay true to yourself, Carly!!!
ReplyDeleteI think we both have learned this lesson together! What's the point in trying to prove yourself to someone else when they don't even care to begin with? I'm so glad you feel as though you have grown throughout this highschool experience! Enjoy life and be yourself! It's worked out great so far! :) Love you!
